KARACHI, Sept 27: The committee for moveover of the government employees, which met here on Friday with chief secretary K.B. Rind in the chair, allowed moveover of 205 officers of the provincial government, including 184 college teachers, from grade 19 to 20.

The college teachers, including 46 female assistant professors, belonged to various colleges of the province. The moveover from BPS-19 to 20 was also allowed to 22 schoolteachers (11 male and 11 female), while a similar approbation was also accorded for 21 other officers, belonging to health (16), irrigation and power (4) and the excise and taxation (1) departments. Mr Rind said a summary was being moved to the Sindh governor for formal approval of the officers’ moveover, whose cases were in abeyance since 1992-93.—PPI
