QUETTA, Dec 13: A woman was killed and five other people were injured in a landmine explosion in Dera Bugti on Monday.

According to Levies sources, the explosion near the town blew up a pick-up carrying a family. Three children were among the injured.

A bomb detonated by remote control in the night damaged the guardroom at the house of a pro-government tribal elder, Wadera Ghulam Qadir Masoori Bugti, in Sui.

Police also defused 15kg of explosives placed near the Bugti Colony.

In Turbat, two security guards were injured in a grenade attack on a wine shop owned by a Hindu.

In Gwadar, a homemade explosive device placed in a dustbin was detonated by remote control near a water bowser of the Frontier Corps. No damage was reported.
