KARACHI, Dec 1: National Hockey Club and Telecom Gymkhana registered wins by huge margins on the third day of the Karachi Inter-club Hockey Tournament at the Hockey Club of Pakistan (HCP) here on Wednesday.

First up, National Hockey Club beat PHF Academy 8-0. The goals were scored by Olympian Sameer Hussain (11th and 17th mins), Olympian Haider Abbas (24th and 35th mins), Mohammad Imran Khan (13th min), Mohammad Ali (16th min), Mudassar Abbas (29th min) and Mohammad Zubair (48th min).

In the next match, Telecom Gymkhana thrashed Ghulaman-i-Abbas School 11-0 with Zia-ul-Islam (sixth, eighth and 55th mins) and Mohammad Ishtiaq (16th, 42nd and 60th mins) bagging hat-tricks. The remaining goals were scored by Mohammad Ramzan (13th and 18th mins), Salman (20th and 59th mins) and Hamza (45th min).

Thursday's fixtures: OISSA v Police (2.00pm) and Airport Hockey Club v Yazik Hockey Club (3.30pm). Both matches will be played at HCP.
