KOHAT, Nov 14: The main pipeline supplying gas to Punjab from Kohat burst with a huge explosion due to pressure causing fear among the people of Bilitang on late Saturday night.

The leakage of gas from the broken pipeline engulfed the whole area.

The Bilitang police, when contacted on Saturday night, said that they would wait till morning to investigate the incident.

However, the local elders accompanied the SNGPL staff to the area which repaired the pipe. —Correspondent
