KARACHI, Sept 15: The incidents of aerial firing in the city have increased with the commencement of political activities since a week back.

Moderate to heavy firing at night was reported from different parts of the city, particularly from the former district Central. The first major incident took place on Friday when workers allegedly belonging to the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal and Muttahida Qaumi Movement clashed in front of the main election office of the MMA at Yousuf Plaza, F B Area.

The second major clash occurred on Saturday night when workers allegedly belonging to MQM attacked the election office of MMA at Nagan Chowrangi. Alleged MMA workers retaliated and ransacked the election office of MQM.—APP
