Karachi, Sept 26: Talented Talha Zubair Surmawala conjured up two back-to-back victories in the juniors and boys singles of the 20th Talent Hunt Sindh ranking Tennis Championship at the PN Physical Training and Sports Centre on Sunday.

In the juniors' under-17, he overcame Sarwan Memon 6-3, 3-0 (retired) while he accounted for Murad Khan 8-1 in the boys and girls' under-15 singles.

The men's singles main round will commence from Monday. Results:

Men's singles: Second qualifying round: Abdullah Khan bt Mohammed Khan 9-3; Fahim Ramzan bt Arshad Shahid 8-6. Juniors' under-17 singles: First round: Talha Zubair Surmawala bt Sanwal Memon 6-3, 3-0 (retired); Fahad Khan bt Hassan Siddiqui 6-4, 6-4. Boys' and girls under-15 singles: Second qualifying round: Murad Khan bt Azhar A. Qadir 8-3; Aqeel Khan bt Sarwan Memon 8-2. First round: Talha Zubair Surmawala bt Murad Khan 8-1; Salman Mati bt Maheen Dada 8-5. Boys' under-11 singles: Qualifying round: Faham Khan (Peshawar) bt Kashan Raza 8-4. First round: Hassan Farooq bt M. Bilal Soomro 8-4. Boys and girls' under-13 Singles: Qualifying rounds: Sadan Ashraf bt Shahzil Malik 8-6. Monday's fixtures:

Men's singles 9.00am; men's doubles 11.00am; juniors under-17 singles 12noon; boys and girls under-13 singles 2.00pm; boys under-15 doubles 4.00pm.
