KARACHI, Sept 8: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement and the Awami National Party will extend cooperation to each other in Sindh in the general elections.

This was announced after a meeting between the leaders of the two parties at the Muttahida headquarters in Azizabad on Sunday, said a press release issued by the Muttahida.

At the meeting, which lasted one and a half hours, there was complete unanimity of views between the leaders of the two parties.

The ANP leaders assured the Muttahida that workers and members of the ANP would participate in Muttahida’s public meetings.

ANP President Asfandyar Wali Khan, ANP Sindh President Qamoos Gul Khattak, General Secretary Farooq Bangash, Secretary Finance Shahid Syed and others attended the meeting.
