LAHORE Driver of a car was beaten to death after having an accident with a motorcycle at Gujrat city's Mahmada chowk on Thursday. Motorcycle riders used bricks to kill the victim.
The car and the motorcycle collided in the morning, after which motorcycle riders tortured the car driver, Tariq Mehmood, and killed him by beating him with bricks.
The murderers escaped the scene leaving Mehmood's body on the road.
Relatives of the victim protested against the incident by setting tyres on fire and blocking the road.
A police investigation was underway, however, no First Information Report (FIR) had so far been registered. — DawnNews
