LAHORE, Sept 4: Shuja-ud-din Malik, gold medallist of the last Commonwealth Games, has been included in a six-member squad announced by the Pakistan Weightlifting Federation (PWF) selection committee, for the upcoming edition of the games to be held in New Delhi, India from Oct 3 to 14.

In the previous edition of Commonwealth Games, Pakistan had won one gold medal through Shuja-ud-din Malik a silver one from Irfan. In the Delhi Games, Shuja-ud-din will compete in the 94kg weight category.

Abdullah Ghafoor (56kg), Mohammad Ishtiaq Ghafoor (62), Mati–ur-Rehman (69), Khurram Shahzad (85), Shuja-ud-din Malik (94), Sajjad Amin Malik (105).

Coaches: Mohammad Ilyas Butt, Rashid Mahmood.
