KARACHI, Aug 23: An industrial unit established on residential plots in Manzoor Colony, Jamshaid Town, is posing severe health hazards to the area people, besides disrupting their daily life.

An unidentified plastic moulding factory, functioning covertly in cector F, street 10, in UC 2 of Manzoor Colony emits poisonous gasses, causes frequent electricity disruptions and noise pollution.

Despite the complaints made to the authorities concerned, the factory is running without any fear of law.

The plastic factory is spread over four residential plots, three heavy moulding machines installed there.

They residents have appealed to the provincial ombudsman to take cognizance of the issue.
