72m voters in country

ISLAMABAD, Aug 20: Around over 72 million voters including 5.2 million youth between the age of 18-21 years will use their right of franchise in the October election.

The recently-revised-down minimum age limit has benefitted to over 5.2 million youth to register themselves as the eligible electors.

Fresh voter lists, to be used for the October polls, show 72,017,234 eligible voters including the recently registered youth.

There were 66,674,039 voters of 21-year old in the lists.—APP
