Published August 21, 2002

KARACHI, Aug 20: The Chief Controller of Buildings, Brig (Retd) A.S. Nasir, has warned the citizens to make it a point to approach the Public Information Centre of KBCA before entering into any transaction with regard to a flat, shop, office or godown in any project.

The Public Information Centre has been established at the first floor of the KBCA Building behind the Civic Centre.

At the PIC, people can ascertain details about the project’s NOC for sale, copy of model agreement and other project-related information so that they may not have to face any inconvenience.

The CCOB further said that they can obtain copy of any approved plan or any related document from the counter within five days.

He said all the KBCA officers have been bound down to give a written reply to a public complaint submitted at the information counter within 10 days.

He also issued instructions for making the counter service more functional and effective.—APP
