KARACHI, Aug 19: The students of Dow Medical College clinched all the three positions in the first professional (part-A and B) MBBS annual examinations 2002.

According to results announced by Karachi University on Monday, in part-A, Kashif Mohammad, seat No 1235, obtained 411 marks out of 500 and stood first. Mirza Ammar Ahmed, seat No 1254, and Furqan Akhtar, seat No 1592, secured 402 marks each and jointly bagged second position, while Rashida Tapal, seat No 1461, bagged third position with 401 marks.

In part-B, Syed Raheel Sameeruddin, seat No 2355, obtained 436 marks and stood first; Shan-i-Abbas, seat No 2354, secured 424 marks and was declared second while Mohammad Zeeshan, seat No 2322, obtained 420 marks and got third position.

Results of seat Nos 1007, 1109, 1142,1262, 1299, 1370, 1437, 1440, 1446, 1526, 1586, 1867, 1949, and 1867 were withheld for various reasons.—PPI
