ISLAMABAD, April 16 A civil court here on Friday formed a judicial commission over the scrutiny of local hockey clubs which has raised question mark over the Pakistan Hockey Federation's club scrutiny committee.

A PHF team had conducted scrutiny of local clubs and disaffiliated a few of them on weak grounds which forced six local hockey clubs to file a petition with the court seeking justice over their disaffiliation.

“Advocate Atif Majeed will probe into the matter and submit a report with the court over the affiliation of local clubs with the hockey federation before May 12,” said a local official of the court.

The court has directed the PHF and members of disaffiliated clubs to submit their views.

The court has also fixed May 8, the next hearing date over the petition filed by the clubs against the PHF.
