KARACHI, March 2 Sindh Education Minister Pir Mazharul Haq has said that teachers will be recruited by the end of this month purely on the basis of merit.

Speaking at the launch of “Promoting private schooling in Sindh Project Phase-II” on Tuesday, the minister said that for the first time in Sindh, the principle of merit had been adopted for the recruitment of teachers. In this regard, tests of 13,000 candidates had been conducted for the recruitment of teachers.—APP
