ISLAMABAD, Feb 24 Defending champion Wapda and Higher Education Commission (HEC) thrashed their opponents to reach the final of the Benazir Bhutto-National Women's Volleyball Championship played here at the Pakistan Sports Complex on Wednesday.

Wapda, in the day's first semi-final, outclassed Police 3-0.

Wapda's team having an edge due to the combination of experienced and young players in the side clinched the match 25-8, 25-5 and 25-10.

In the second semi-final, HEC exhibited a good performance against Islamabad in a one-sided affair, winning it by 3-0.

HEC lifted the three-set match 25-6, 25-2 and 25-10. The final will be played at the Pakistan Sports Complex on Thursday.
