Dhaka, Feb 3 Pakistan will be facing their main adversary India in Thursday's final of 11th South Asian Games Volleyball competition after they registered almost identical 3-0 victories over their respective rivals at Soharwardy Indoor Stadium here on Wednesday.

Former champions Pakistan, who finished a disappointing third in the last Games held in Colombo in 2006, produced a sterling performance to defeat Sri Lanka in three tough games.

Pakistan's Muhammad Farooq, Ismail and Mohib Rasool demonstrated brilliant smashing while booster Asif Nadeem also put up a creditable show. In the other pre-final, India beat Madives 3-0.—APP
