KARACHI, Aug 8: On the occasion of Independence Day, all government and private educational institutions will remain open on August 14.
This was announced by the executive district officer education of the city district government on Thursday. It said that a flag hoisting ceremony will be held on Aug 14 at eight am, and that students and teachers will recite national songs.
The administrations of educational institutions have been asked to decorate their premises with national flags and buntings, and to hold functions to mark Independence Day in a befitting manner.—APP
