KARACHI Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) completed an easy seven-wicket win over Sialkot at the Niaz Stadium in Hyderabad on Friday to consolidate their position at the top of RBS Pentangular Cup standings.

After bowling out Sialkot for 268 in the second innings, SNGPL lost three wickets in chasing a modest target of 78 runs on the third day of the match.

Earlier, Sialkot added 71 to their overnight total of 197-7 of which 44 came during the last-wicket partnership between Faisal Rasheed and Bilawal Bhatti.

Bilawal, the top-scorer in the first innings with 33, bludgeoned four sixes and a four in an undefeated 34 off 21 balls.

Left-arm seamer Samiullah Niazi took 3-64 to finish with a mach bag of 8-89.

SNGPL have 18 points from three matches.
