Chitral Tehsil budget presented

CHITRAL, Aug 3: Tehsil Nazim Amir Khan Mir on Friday presented a deficit budget of Rs11.05 million for the year 2002-3 at the tehsil council, Chitral.

Deputy Nazim and convener of the council, Khushi Mohammad, presided over the session. The council passed the budget.

In his speech, tehsil nazim said the main source of income — export and import tax — had been diverted to all the 24 union councils of the district while the tehsil municipal administration had been overburdened by the surplus employees of the defunct district council, local government and rural development departments.
