Nine killed in Jhang road accident

JHANG At least nine people were killed and six others injured in a road accident in Jhang on Thursday, DawnNews reported.

The accident occurred when a passenger van collided head-on with a truck at Garh Morh in Jhang.

Seven people died on the spot whereas two died en route to the hospital, police said.

Meanwhile, other wounded passengers were being shifted to hospitals for medical treatment.

Police sources said the truck driver fled after the accident which occurred due to over speeding. — DawnNews
