KARACHI, Dec 22 Larkana gave Sukkur a 6-0 thrashing while Nawabshah beat Khairpur 2-0 in the two matches played in NBP Sindh Inter-district Hockey Tournament at the Hockey Club of Pakistan (HCP) here on Tuesday.

Larkana's winning tally included a hat-trick by centre-forward Zahid Ali and one goal each from right-in Majid Kalhoro, left-in Nasir Hussain and centre-half Shahroze Khan.

The match was umpired by Akhlaq Bukhari and Ghufran Bukhari.

In the other match, the two goals for Nawabshah were scored by centre-forward Mohammad Adnan and right-in Waheed Khan. Chaudhary Tanveer Arshad and Zulfiqar Hussain were the umpires.

The matches were watched by PCB Chief Selector and NBP Sports Chief Iqbal Qasim, the chief guest on the occasion.

Wednesday's fixtures (Semi-finals) Nawabshah v Larkana at 1.00pm; Hyderabad v Karachi at 3.00pm.
