KARACHI, Aug 1: Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh has been elected unopposed as the President of the Sindh Democratic Alliance (SDA) during elections of the SDA held at the residence of party leader Mir Muhammad Khokhar here on Thursday.

Al-Hajj Shamim Din was elected Secretary-General, Mir Hassan Khoso, Senior Vice President, Taj Muhammad Shaikh, Malak Ayaz Khan and Raheela Tiwana were elected as Vice Presidents, said a press release.

Meanwhile, Agha Zafarullah Shaheen was elected Deputy Secretary-General and Mansoor Shaikh, Jamal Khan Sherwani and Begam Ahad Yousuf were elected as Joint Secretaries of the SDA.

Naeem-ur-Rehman was elected Secretary Information, Mir Muhammad Kholhar Secretary Finance and Nida Rashid was elected as Secretary Coordination. All office bearers have been elected unopposed.

Ghulam Murtaza Jatoi, Saleem Jan Mazari, Irfanullah Khan Marwat, Yousuf Masti Khan, Anwer Bhai Jan, Subak Majeed, Syed Muhammad Shah, Sardar Chakar Shahani, Huma Mir, Aijaz Khokhar and other leaders were also present.—PPI
