KARACHI, July 30: The higher authorities of the First Women Bank has reviewed its earlier decision to shift the bank’s Lyari’s branch office to the Defence Housing Authority.

An FWB official told DAWN on Tuesday that the bank’s office would now be shifted to a commercially viable area of the locality.

The shifting of the bank’s office was resented by the area people and representatives of NGOs. In a communication to the president of the FWB, the Nazim of the town had also opposed the decision and urged her to reconsider the decision and allow the bank to function.
