HYDERABAD, July 27: A delegation of 66 retrenched female primary teachers of Hyderabad city met Sindh chief secretary K B Rind outside the Hyderabad Press Club on Saturday and informed him about their predicament.

They were led by the chairperson of the Teachers Action Committee, Ms Shaqufta Rabab Jafri.

They complained that in spite of the clear orders by the Sindh governor they had not been reinstated in the service.

They further said that the Sindh Public Service Commission had not yet issued any orders for the scrutiny of their educational certificates.

The chief secretary asked the delegation to meet him on July 30, in his office and assured them that their problems would be resolved.—Bureau
