KARACHI, July 22: The Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, on Monday announced the results of HSC (Part I) Home Economics annual examinations 2002, which were concluded in June.

According to A BIE notification, 519 candidates were registered for the examinations, all from THE Rana Liaquat Ali Khan College of Home Economics. In all, 507 candidates appeared in the examination, out of whom 491 were declared pass.

The breakdown of the pass students is as follows: Seven papers, 335; Six papers, 86; five papers, 29; four papers, 15; three papers, 20; two papers, 5, and one paper, 1.

Results of 16 candidates were withheld for want of correct and complete information. Mark sheets will be issued after two weeks.
