KOHAT, July 19: The lawyers community announced that they would boycott the courts on Saturday demanding security for them and their clients following killing of a man near the Bar office on Friday.

The president of Kohat Bar Association Mian Mohammad Iqbal advocate while presiding a meeting of lawyers condemned the killing of a client of the president of Aurat Foundation, Saleem Altaf advocate, in his chamber by the rival group and asked the SSP to establish a police check post at the gate of the courts in view of the increasing incidents of violence.

He said the criminals freely roamed in the courts carrying arms putting the life of the lawyers and judges at risk.

Later through a unanimous resolution the lawyers decided to observe a complete strike on Saturday to press for their demand.
