LAHORE, Aug 24 PML-Q central leader Faisal Saleh Hayat says both the PPP and the PML-N are not serious in trial of former president Pervez Musharraf under Article 6 of the Constitution.

Speaking at Meet the Press programme of the Lahore Press Club on Monday, he said if the PML-N was serious in Musharraf's trial, it could have brought a resolution in the Punjab Assembly, where it holds a reasonable majority to get the resolution passed, urging the federal government to act against the former army ruler for imposing 'unconstitutional' emergency and arresting judges of superior courts.

He said the PML-N also failed to perform as a vigilant and active opposition in the National Assembly.

He alleged that PPP parliamentarians were making corrupt deals while assemblies had been reduced to the status of rubber stamps for all the basic decisions were taken by courts.
