PHF Board meeting today

KARACHI, July 16 The 13th session of the Pakistan Hockey Federation's (PHF) Executive Board to take place at the Hockey Club of Pakistan on Friday under the chairmanship of PHF President Qasim Zia will be looking to discuss a number of important issues.

The meeting agenda includes seeking approval for the 2009-1010 budget estimated to be around Rs143 million. This also includes budget approval for certain unforeseen team tours taken during the previous year.

Disciplinary issues like that of coaches taking teams on foreign tours without getting the federation's NOC will also be looked into besides the Ayesha Bashir case wherein she was found to be overaged.

The senior and junior team coaches Shahid Ali Khan and Khawaja Junaid will present the team performance reports.—Sports Reporter
