KARACHI: July 12: Fifteen vehicles — five cars and 10 motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in the city on Friday, a spokesman for the Capital City Police said.

Two cars were hijacked: one each in North Nazimabad and Paposh Nagar. Three others were stolen: one each in Gulshan-i-Iqbal, Joharabad, and Steel Town.

Three motorcycles were hijacked: one each in Joharabad, Malir Cantt, and Landhi. Seven others were stolen in Kharadar, Arambagh, Soldier Bazaar, Frere, and Taimuria.

The police also claimed on Friday to have recovered two stolen cars (S-7193, ACK-536) and three motorcycles (RNC-2923, KCT-693, and KAR-8777).
