KHAIRPUR, July 1 The government has undertaken several development plans for providing better educational and job facilities to the people of this city.

This was stated by the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah during the reception hosted by the Anjuman-i-Tajiran late on Tuesday.

“I am President of the Thar Coal Board thus the coal is our property though previously it used to be headed by the nominee of the federal government,” he said.

The government, to raise educational standards and improve condition of schools had released Rs100 million to each district, he said.

Despite worldwide lay-offs, the PPP government provided job opportunities to 50,000 with more to be employed in future, said the CM.
