ISLAMABAD, June 15 A number of old guards in the PPP who have been sidelined by the party leadership decided on Monday to celebrate the 55th birth anniversary of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto with a meeting at Liaquat Bagh in Rawalpindi on June 21.

Addressing a press conference here, they said they would like to know whether the UN commission formed to probe into Ms Bhutto's assassination would only ascertain the cause of her death or unveil the elements behind the attack.

“Will the UN commission fix criminal responsibility on those involved in Ms Bhutto's assassination?” Senator Safdar Abbasi asked. He was accompanied by his wife Naheed Khan, Saleem Sardar and Raja Mushtaq.
