QUETTA, June 3 A Frontier Corps soldier was killed by a landmine in Khuzdar on Wednesday and the body of another Frontier Corps soldier was found in Goth Mazari area close to Punjab-Balochistan border. The soldier, Mohammad Rashid, was kidnapped on Tuesday while patrolling near Sui area.

Sanjar Khan Bugti was killed and another man was injured when a landmine exploded in a village near Sobatpur area in Jaffarabad district.

The man was going home when his bicycle hit the mine.

In another incident, three people, a security personnel among them, were injured when gunmen opened fire on a security vehicle in Khuzdar town.

Sources said that the vehicle was attacked by two people riding a motorcycle.

A spokesman for outlawed Baloch Liberation Army, Mirack Baloch, claimed responsibility for the attack.
