LARKANA, May 27 The Larkana Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) on Wednesday announced results of annual examination for the Higher Secondary Certificate Part-II commerce group in which only one of 719 candidates could make it to A-1 grade and only 21 were grabbed A-grade.

According to a notification, 80 candidates were placed in B, 254 in C, 177 in D and seven in E grade and result of 17 candidates was withheld. The overall pass percentage remained 75.10 per cent, it said.

Sumeet Kumar Seedani and Ravi Pohwani of the SZABIST clinched the first two positions and Akshay Kumar, student of the Government Arts and Commerce College, bagged the third among male candidates.

In female candidates, Kawish Memon and Aas Sahar Soomro of the Government Arts and Commerce College bagged the first and third positions respectively and Tahera Magsi of SZABIST secured the second position.—Correspondent
