DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Nov 2: Allama Sajid Naqvi, chief of Tehrik-i-Jafria Pakistan (TJP) has supported Pakistan’s stand on Afghanistan and has said it was necessary for us to favour all types of actions against terrorism.

He said Pakistan was passing through a critical juncture and it was not possible for our government to keep the country isolated from the rest of the world.

Speaking at Press conference at Kotli on Friday, he said the decision was very hard but principally, it was the need of the day. He said the TJP was of the view that neither our soil nor our forces should be used for any aggression against any brother Muslim country.

He denied any comments against Osama bin Laden saying that he could not speak for or against him because he had no knowledge about him. He said most of our religious parties were holding demonstrations in favor of Osama and Taliban and the TJP respected their viewpoint. Allama Sajid said despite the increasing demand, US hadn’t provided any evidence against Osama of his involvement in World Trade Centre incident and as such US was  not  justified in its action against  Osama  and Afghanistan.

He said Osama was actually a lame excuse. The US had the intentions to establish its camp in this area and he was doing it now. He was of the view that this camp would not only control and monitor this entire region but also it would be a continuous threat to our nuclear programme and to our sovereignty.

He said the US should also see what was happening in Palestine where youths were being killed and properties were being destroyed by Israel.
