HYDERABAD, April 26 The general secretary of the interior Sindh chapter of the Pakistan Workers Federation, Abdul Latif Nizamani, has warned the Metropolitan Steel Corporation, Karachi, of serious consequences if it does not stop victimisation of CBA office-bearers and other employees.

Mr Nizamani said in a statement that the corporation should accept the charter of demands of the CBA union and reinstate sacked and suspended employees.

He said that it was the inherent right of the CBA union to present charter of demands as it was the elected representative of the workers. He expressed support to the CBA union on behalf of the Pakistan Workers Federation.

Mr Nizamani, who is also the president of the Pakistan Wapda Hydro Electric Central Labour Union, warned the corporation that if it did not mend its ways, its power supply would be suspended.—Bureau
