KARACHI, July 2: The Anti-Car Lifting Cell raided a printing press in Al-Karam Square and took into custody owner of the press along with five other persons involved in printing fake degrees, certificates, vehicle registration books, bank receipts and other documents.

The ACLC team raided the press at Al-Karam Square on Monday and arrested Shakeel Ahmed, owner of the press, along with his four accomplices — Jehangir, Faisal, Anwar Alam, Irfan and Mohammad Baloch.

About 40,000 fake blank degrees of Karachi University, NED University, Dhaka University, Board of Technical Education, Board of Secondary Education, mark sheets, forged registration books of excise and taxation department, and several materials used for forging documents were recovered.—PPI
