MADHYA PRADESH  A shoe was thrown at BJP Leader LK Advani today during a rally in Katni area of Madhya Pardesh DawnNews reported . The shoes thrower is known to belong to the same party.

Advani was on stage when the shoe was thrown at him. Although the shoe didn`t hit the BJP leader, the police have arrested the offender.

One week ago, a similar incident had taken place when a congress candidate and industrialist Naveen Jindal had a shoe thrown at him while he was addressing a meeting in his constituency in Kurukshetra, when a school teacher flung a shoe at him from the audience.

The incident occurred two days after a Sikh journalist had flung his shoe at the Indian Home Minister at a press conference in Delhi.
