SUKKUR, April 1 Expressing disappointment over the performance of Sindh and Balochistan governments, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (F) has urged the federal government to dispel sense of deprivation from the people of these provinces by addressing their problems on priority.

A meeting of the JUI-F was held here on Wednesday under the presidentship of JUI chief Moulana Fazlur Rehman.
Moulana Fazlur Rehman, Senator Moulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri and Senator Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro alleged that the US, in the name of war against terror, was trying to occupy resources of Islamic countries. They said that despite strong opposition by people, former rulers had put the solidarity of the country and entire region in danger by supporting the US.

They alleged that America, after ruining Iraq and Afghanistan, was trying to occupy Pakistan and called upon all political forces to join hands in foiling its nefarious designs.

They said that President Barrack Obama`s statement of sending more troops to Afghanistan, threats of drone attacks in Balochistan after NWFP and tribal areas, and declaring Pakistan dangerous state, unveil its heinous nature.

They said that continuation of past government`s policies and silence of politicians was a national crime and anti-state attitude and added that the JUI sensing the danger was trying to take along all political forces but some vested elements were resorting to negative propaganda.

They claimed that the recent crisis was resolved through their formula but someone else took the credit.
