NAWABSHAH, March 24 A minor boy was criminally assaulted and later killed in Daulatpur town on Tuesday.

Mukhtiar Ali Arain, 8, was kidnapped by unknown persons near his house. The Daulatpur police later found his body from a wheat field in Ward No 8.

Police sources said that the body was naked and borne torture marks and it seemed as if the boy was criminally assaulted.

The body was sent to Rural Health Centre Daulatpur for autopsy. No FIR was lodged till filing of this report.

A 10-year-old girl was kidnapped and killed after sexual assault in Daulatpur a couple of weeks back and police had failed to arrest the killers.

BODY FOUND Body of an unidentified youth was found from Mohalla Gharibabad here on Tuesday.

It was shifted to Peoples Medical College Hospital. Medico Legal Officer at the hospital Dr Amjad Bhatti said that there were torture marks on the body. However the final report would ascertain the cause of death.
