LAHORE The Pakistan junior hockey team beat Ghana 7-0 in their second match in the five-nation junior hockey tournament in Cairo, Egypt, on Monday.

According to the information received here from Egypt, Pakistan was leading three goals to nil at the end of the first half.

Forward Mohammad Zubair scored a hat-trick in the 18th, 42nd and 64th minutes; while fullbacks Wasif Siddiqui and Mohammad Atiq converted a penalty corner each in the fifth minute and eighth minute, respectively. Captain and forward Abdul Haseem Khan also scored one in the 41st minute and fullback Khalid Bhatti converted a penalty stroke in the 67th minute.

Pakistan play their third match against Egypt at 4.00pm (PST) on Tuesday.
