HYDERABAD, March 19 About 650 shopkeepers of New Cloth Market and residents of the area have expressed concern over shifting of the branches of National Bank and MCB from the area.

Head of traders` Municipal Coordination Committee Haji Mohammad Sharif said that shifting of the banks would not only inconvenience traders but it would also cerate problems for general public.
He said that thousands of government employees, especially female pensioners, who had their accounts in the NBP, would have to face a lot of difficulties.

He appealed to the president and prime minister to order an inquiry into shifting of bank branches and alleged builders mafia would be the only beneficiary.

DATE EXTENDED The University of Sindh has extended last date up to March 28 for submission of forms for admission to one-year postgraduate diploma in community development at the Centre for Rural Development Communication.
