KARACHI, June 27: It is our national duty to work together to combat the menace of drug abuse and addiction in society.

This was stated by Director General, NILAT, Syed Hakim Ali Shah Bukhari while speaking at the concluding ceremony of the three-day seminar on “Prevention of drug abuse among workers”.

About 50 participants from different public and private sector organisations, NGOs, trade unions, press and electronic media attended the seminar.

Speakers including Saeeduddin, Dr. Ali Imran, Dr. Sarosh Salman, Dr. Sikander and others in their speeches stressed the need for fighting the menace and urged the concerned government agencies to put a ban on Pan, Gutka, chalia .—PPI
