MARDAN, March 11 Six persons, including a woman, were killed and 25 others sustained injuries when a passengers` coach and coaster collided head-on near Jalala on Mardan-Malakand road on Wednesday.

The speeding coaster bearing registration number LHP-8893 collided with the coach bearing registration number PRK-4245.

As a result five passengers died on the spot and one succumbed to his injuries in a local hospital while 25 others including seven women sustained injuries.

The deceased were ident- ified as Zeeshan, Shoail , Feroza Bibi, Darwesh Khan and Janat Khan.

BOY KILLED The body of five-year-old boy Owais Khan was found in the fields in Zormanday area on Wednesday.

It was learnt that Owais was missing from Tuesday evening and his body was found in the fields on Wednesday.

Parents of the child reported to police who arranged sniffer dogs and traced two persons however police avoided disclosing their names.

ROCKETS FIRED Rockers were fired at the house of local nazim Haq Nawaz in Kohi Burmol area here on Wednesday allegedly by Akbar Khan and his accomplices.

Nawaz claimed that he was present in his house when Akbar Khan, Khalid Khan, Haibat Khan, Nowsherawan and Asghar fired rockets and opened indiscriminate fire at his house.

However, the nazim said, he and his family members remained unhurt. Katlang police have lodged FIR and started raids to arrest the attackers.
