KARACHI, June 23: A rally was staged on Sunday in front of the Karachi Press Club by the Jamhoori Watan Party, calling for withdrawal of the Frontier Constabulary from the Dera Bugti area. The demonstration was also joined by the members of the Bugti tribe in Sindh.

The demonstrators were carrying banners and placards in support of their demands. They criticised the federal government’s decision to send the Frontier Constabulary to Dera Bugti “on the pretext” of search of elements allegedly involved in the firing on the gas pipelines in Sui area.’
