LAHORE, June 14: The Punjab governor directed on Friday the authorities concerned to prepare a plan for the establishment of universities in Faisalabad, Sargodha, Rawalpindi and Dera Ghazi Khan to promote higher education in the province.

Governor Khalid Maqbool was talking to a representative of the American Presbyterian Church, Dr Peter H. Armocost, who called on him at the Governor’s House.

Dr Armocost urged the governor to hand over the administrative control of the Presbyterian Church’s missionary colleges like FC College, Murray College, Sialkot, and Gordon College, Rawalpindi.
