Musharraf leaves for London

ISLAMABAD Former President General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf Sunday morning left for London on a one-week visit.

Pervez Musharraf, accompanied by his wife Begum Sehba Musharraf, left from Benazir Bhutto International Airport here for London by PIA flight PK-785, reported a private TV channel.

Following his resignation from the president slot, this is the maiden foreign tour of the former president.

The report said that the former president, during his tour, would address the Cambridge University Students Union besides holding meetings with the members of different think tanks.

Pakistani High Commission will provide full official protocol on his arrival at London, added the report.
