LARKANA Balochistan Chief Minister Aslam Raesani has said the government would probe the killing of Nawab Akbar Bugti if his relatives register a First Information Report (FIR) against former president Pervez Musharraf.

He was talking to the media in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto where he laid floral wreaths and offered Fateha at the graves of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto, Mir Murtaza Bhutto and Mir Shahnawaz Bhutto on Wednesday.

Regarding the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and talks with nationalists, he said `we are all nationalists`.

He said his government was actively engaged in the rehabilitation of the earthquake victims and would extend financial aid to them for construction of houses.

He said the complete assessment of earthquake damages would be finalized by November 13 and added that friendly countries like Saudi Arabia, China, Kuwait and the US had extended financial aid to undertake the rehabilitation work in the earthquake areas. The work would begin within a couple of days.

Replying to another query, he termed the Nato airstrikes  as violation of the Pakistan`s territory and added that a protest with the centre would be lodged. The Prime Minister would be briefed about the peoples` reaction and government`s reservations about the air strikes he said.
Regarding the `jirga` held by President Asif Ali Zardari,  he said it was an `administrative` one, saying the `intellectual` one would be held soon.

He said the president had taken him into confidence about the jirga and he was confident about its positive outcome.
