RAWALPINDI At least one person was killed and 11 others were injured, five of them critically, when four bogies, including the Engine of the Sialkot Express derailed from the track near Gujar Khan on Sunday, according to APP.

Superintendent Police Pakistan Railways Ahmed Mukhtar said that nine people including the train driver were injured in the accident.

The train was on its way to Silakot from Rawalpindi when it derailed from the track and ran on the loop line, resulting in the accident.

The Divisional Superintendent Pakistan Railways Rawalpindi Division, Jabbar Khan, along with other senior officials immediately reached the spot and supervised the rescue operation.
