LOADSHEDDING Scores of JUI-F activists and people staged a demonstration and sit-in at Rahbar Chowk in Thul to protest against unannounced loadshedding in Ramazan.

The protestors led by local JUI leader Maulana Abbas Noonari gathered at Rahbar chowk, while shouting slogans against Hesco and burnt tyres and staged a sit-in for two hours, suspending vehicular traffic.

On this occasion the protestors told the local journalists that, despite the announcement made by the federal minister for water and power that there would be no loadshedding during

the holy month of Ramadan, the Hesco Thul officials were carrying out loadsheding for hours, due to which people were facing hardship.

Accusing the Hesco officials of carrying out unscheduled load shedding to cover up their line losses, they demanded of the federal minister for water and power to take notice of the atrocities and relieve the people of loadshedding.
